2023 Louisville Photo Biennial is coming up in September and Brick Street will be participating. 
]]><![CDATA[Brick Street Re-opens with "Transitions" Exhibition August 27th]]>Sat, 05 Jun 2021 18:53:42 GMThttp://brickstreetartstudios.com/whats-new--brick-street-art-studios/brick-street-re-opens-with-transitions-exhibition-august-27th"Transitions" exhibit will run from August 23rd to September 25th and will feature the work of Louisville artists: , Shamia Gaither, Katherine McCadden, Irene Reed, Diana Taylor, Ali Wine and Eriko Whittaker. Three of these artists are proud alum of the Kentucky Governor School for the Arts.  All six artists will be exploring the idea of transitions as they themselves navigate changes in personal identity, location, work, multiple communities and a post-pandemic world.

Right now due to Covid 19 the studio is closed to the public, however it is the staging ground for GSA 2020 supply distribution for the Visual Arts Program. 

Resident artist, Susie Harrison, is a proud member of the visual art faculty for this gifted and talented summer program that sadly will be virtual this summer.
